All sessions can be practised seated in a chair, and depending on access restrictions I can cater to all ability/mobility levels.

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®. 


Kundalini is a vigorous yet deeply meditative yoga practice which shares some aspects of a typical hatha yoga class but with less emphasis on stretching and more emphasis on the more spiritual, healing, energetic and esoteric aspects of yoga. It is an 'open level' practice - i.e., open to all levels of experience from beginners to advanced, all poses are offered with modifications if needed.

And you don't need to be flexible!


In Kundalini Yoga the emphasis is on breath and combined, often repetitive, movements to move energy. Another aspect of this practice is the use of chanting and mantra. I currently teach an open Kundalini yoga class weekly in Totnes which you can drop in to.


This tradition offers 2500+ kriyas (yoga exercise sets) and 5000+ meditations and pranayamas - breathing practices - for all conditions and aspirations. There are kriyas (yoga sets) for regulating blood pressure, managing pain, tackling insomnia… you name it there's probably a kriya for it!  The session is practised to a mantric (sacred sounds) playlist. We end the practice with  deep meditation, sometimes moving sometimes still - students appreciate how easy it is to move into meditation after the bodywork of the kriya.


Sessions leave you feeling energised and transformed - the magic of this hitherto secret yogic technology is that it is deeply felt with very tangible results.
